Every bit of hold your body needs is carried by four strips of fabric, each about an inch wide. That is exactly where the grooves, the red lines and the 5 p.m. relief come from.

Most built-in bra tanks are a single thin layer of jersey with a "shelf bra" in name only. These three details are what separate this one.

This is the part that actually holds. It's also what keeps the tank opaque under light clothing.

Will it really support me?

For a normal day, yes: errands, church, time with the grandkids, a long afternoon out. The support is spread rather than concentrated, so it doesn't announce itself the way a band does. One honest note: if you're fuller busted and heading out for hard, high-impact activity, treat this as a comfortable everyday support layer, not a replacement for a purpose-built high-support bra.

Will it be too tight? I can't stand feeling squeezed.

There's no band, no wire and no hook, so nothing grips in one spot. The four-way stretch knit moves when you move instead of holding a fixed shape against you.

What size should I order?

Order the size you normally wear. The sizing was re-graded from XS to 6XL to standard measurements. Not sure? Use the size finder on this page: enter your bra size and it gives you your tank size.

I'm a DDD, F or G. Will it fit me?

Yes. It isn't sized by cup letter. Measure the fullest part of your bust with the tape level and match the number to the chart. Sizes cover a 30" to 56" bust.

Will it roll up when I walk?

It's cut past the hip and tucks in. The support is anchored at the sides rather than across the back, which is the part that usually causes shorter camisoles to ride up.

Will it show under a white blouse?

No straps cross the back, so there are no lines or clasp bumps. The double layer through the bust prevents show-through.

Can I put it on by myself?

Yes. Pull it over your head, or step into it from the floor, whichever is easier on your shoulders that day. There's nothing to fasten.

Can I wear it on its own?

Yes. It's full coverage either way. Wear it alone at home or on errands, or layer it under a cardigan, blouse or jacket. No bra needed underneath.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold on gentle, inside out, with mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener, since softener coats the stretch fibers. Hang to dry and avoid the dryer and iron. Heat wears out the stretch. The padding is partially sewn in, so it won't shift out of place or get lost in the machine.
